Sun Airway will play one of the best venues in Philly tonight (the Sanctuary of the First Unitarian Church) and you should go, if you live in the city. What else are you going to do? It’s the perfect venue for their dream-pop tunes and their crazy light show.

The video above was directed by Ricardo Rivera/ KLIP Collective, whose also the mastermind behind ‘their crazy light show’.

I never ask to get my picture taken with artists I interview, but I couldn’t resist getting my picture taken with Questlove. I didn’t know what to do so I just cheesed it really hard.

I had the chance to interview Questlove of The Roots a few weeks ago. I was only suppose to have five minutes with him, but we ended up talking for 10 minutes or so. He was a chill dude and really enjoyed the questions I had for him. We chatted about a homeless vegetarian, The Roots Picnic, the Dirty Projectors and a few other things. Check it out HERE.
The photo above is Questo in front of just a portion of his vinyl collection.

St Vincent(aka Annie Clark) announced earlier today that she will release a new record Strange Mercy via 4AD on September 12th. I don’t know about you, but I think that’s amazing news. Get more details about the record HERE.

I saw Maine native, Brooklyn based Luke Rathborne open for Devendra Banhart at the TLA in Philly back in 2009. He put on a great performance with a full string band. I’m glad to see that he’s still making music and living his dream. He just released a double EP. Check it out HERE or listen to a track below.
